Making a booking with Premier Drive Driving Tuition confirms that you have read & agreed to the following terms & conditions.
Premier Drive will use government-licensed instructors to teach you to a high standard as per DVSA standard in a modern vehicle. Your instructor will not smoke in the vehicle and will be polite and friendly.
Tuition is only available if:
You’re aged 17 or over, or aged 16 or over and receive the higher rate of Disability Living Allowance (mobility component); and
Pupils must be able to read a vehicle number plate from 67ft (20.5m) If a pupil needs glasses or contact lens for corrective vision, these must be worn whenever driving.
The pupil must not be under the influence of drink or drugs at any time. If a representative of Premier Drive detects signs of the above, the remainder of the course will be cancelled and no refund will be made.
You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing on all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons.
You must notify your instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, eg any lack or loss of a valid UK professional driving licence.
Cancellation of lessons
If you don’t give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation you’ll be charged for the lesson(s) concerned in full. In the event of you having booked your driving test, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) requires you to give three clear working days to cancel your test. This may mean that you may lose your DVSA test fee if your instructor says you’re not ready for your test within this three-day notice period.
Intensive driving courses terms and conditions
Deposits for our intensive driving courses are non-refundable.
The full balance is to be paid 21 days prior to commencement of any course unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation or postponement: Once a course is booked, no fees are refundable, unless the following conditions are met. If the booked instructor can obtain work to replace the cancelled course (or part of) no charge will be made. However if this is not possible, the full fee that covers the course (or part of) will be charged.
Any changes in dates or times you make with your instructor will be as agreed between you and the instructor for your course. Premier Drive Driving Tuition will not be responsible for any hours lost or omitted due to these changes to your original booking.
Premier Drive cannot, will not, be held responsible for any expenses incurred in the event of the DVSA cancelling a test. In such cases, all complaints are solely with the DVSA and must be made to them alone.
The Driving Vehicle Standards Agency do occasionally move test times for other clients which may clash with a time on your course. If this issue does arise Premier Drive will notify you as soon as possible and arrange another time with you that is convenient for both parties.
While every effort will be made by your instructor, should the pupil fail to reach a satisfactory standard of driving, or is likely to be a danger to themselves, third parties or property, we reserve the right to refuse to present the pupil for a test. No refunds will be made.
In the event of any lesson being cancelled by the instructor due to adverse weather, every effort would be made to reschedule these lessons before the practical test date. If this is not possible the test would be rescheduled to allow time to fit in any lost hours.
Premier Drive reserve the right to introduce (and to withdraw) special offers from time to time.
Introductory offers (First Driving Lesson and Assessment lesson) are only available to new customers. They can’t be used in conjunction with other offers and aren’t transferable. Offers not valid for an intensive driving course, motorway lessons, refresher lessons and test day car hire.
